Our Chapter operates
a tiny fleet of vehicles for the express purpose of transporting veterans to and from the VA hospital on North Pecos in North Las Vegas.
This service makes one trip per day, Monday through Friday as
needed. We cannot stop anywhere en route - no side trips, so please do not ask.
If you need a ride, please contact Steve Chase at 775.209.0126.
Please
give as much warning as possible so that Steve can coordinate the trips.
Appointments should be made for the first thing in the morning, to be completed by 1100.
The Drivers are all volunteers and we need more Drivers! If you are able to give a few days a month, please let Steve know at the above number. Potential
Drivers must undergo a background check, to include fingerprints, a physical examination and orientation by the Veterans Administration .You are treated as a employee of the VA.
