Paul Houser

PAUL J. HOUSER  passed away unexpectedly May 26, 2018 at Spring Valley Hospital, Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 13, 1922 in St. Johns, Mich. He was a proud WWII Army veteran. He had been a Pahrump resident since 1985. Paul, along with his wife, Vivien, 25 year Disabled American Veteran, owned PVH Real Estate until 2002. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Vivien; sons, Larry and Gregory; and long-tme companion. Loueen Meyer. He is survived by his sons, David (Debbie) Houser of Pahrump and Gary Houser of Middletown, Calif.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.

Don Czerwinski

DONALD F. CZERWINSKI (Donny, SKI), age 74, passed away April 18, 2018 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. He was born in Milwaukee, Wis. June 10, 1943. Donny served honorably as a Marine during the Vietnam war. He and his wife moved to Pahrump in 1997. He had been a part of the Marine Corps League in Pahrump since 2007. Donny is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wittig; son, Michael (Elizabeth) Czerwinski, daughter, Donna (Troy) Steward; stepsons, Ron Wittig and Shane Stolowski; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A memorial Service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. with a date of June 8, 2018. Call 702-486-5920 for particulars.

 

It is with heavy heart that I give you the news that Art Jones passed Monday, Nov. 13, 2017.

Boosel

GLENN LEE BOOSEL, 83, passed away Jan. 6, 2017 at his home in Pahrump after a lengthy illness. He was born September 18, 1933, in Chicora, Penn., to the late William and Sara Ellen (Swope) Boosel. Glenn was a 1951 graduate of Chicora High School, where he was a varsity member of the rifle team. He received many awards from the National Rifle Association, including the distinction of Sharp Shooter. After graduating high school, Glenn enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1951. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force, and continued to serve for 21 years until his retirement in July, 1973. On May 19, 1956, Glenn married Wilma Pauline Shoemaker of Wabash, Ind. Glenn and Wilma were married for 55 years before her death in 2012. Glenn had many hobbies including woodworking and metalworking. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and especially enjoyed participating in charity poker runs with his wife. They traveled the country on their motorcycle together. Glenn was an active member of the Elks Club and Marine Corps League in Pahrump, Nev. He was passionately involved with the Toys For Tots organization serving the children of Nye County, Nev. Along with his wife, Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Alley

MICHAEL KEVIN ALLEY, 62, of Pahrump, passed away Jan. 5th 2017. He was born Sept. 23rd, 1954, in Mineola, NY and resided in Pahrump, Nev. for 20 years. He was a retired mechanic and served in the U. S. Army from 1977 to 1982. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a faithful Christian and a Deacon at First Southern Baptist. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Dawna; 3 sisters: Carrie Reilly, Dorothy Rodriguez and Donna Lopes; 2 brothers: Chris and Bob Alley; 3 daughters: Kathy Booth, Michelle Alley, Glenda Ibanez and son Kevin Alley; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be at noon on Jan. 14th, at First Southern Baptist.
